Epic Care
MSA was retained by Epic Care Partners in Comprehensive Care to design its new San Leandro, CA Imaging Center. The Center, located in an existing medical complex, was a technically challenging project incorporating both MRI and PET/CT scanning facilities in one location. Each piece of equipment had unique shielding requirements and isolation restraints based on their specific area. The Center has a centrally located shared reception and patient waiting room.
Epic Care also utilized MSA to design their Antioch administration headquarters. The 24,000sqft ground-up building centralized all the administration and billing operations for Epic Care. The unique concrete tilt-up design of this building facilitated an accelerated construction schedule and lowered final building costs and was awarded an excellence in design acknowledgment for concrete tilt-up construction.
