The Emergency Generator Replacement Project involved the design and construction of an emergency power system for both the existing Hospital and the future Acute Care facility. The new, high-efficiency generator estimates to save the facility over $200,000 per year in energy costs while exceeding the requirements of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District.
MSA fast-tracked this project to compress the design and construction schedule, drastically reducing costs. To mitigate potential negative impacts to hospital operations, MSA developed a phased implementation plan responsive to the concerns of the Hospital and key stakeholders.
