Paramount is a leading global media company that delivers premium content to audiences across various platforms worldwide. Upon moving their San Francisco office to a neighboring building with copious amounts of natural light and panoramic city views, Paramount chose MSA to transform their new workplace to reflect their multifaceted and world-renowned brand.
Paramount has many platforms under its umbrella. It was essential to create unity and connection for its networks to feel a sense of inclusion and encourage collaboration in their new space. It is no secret that most media network viewers enjoy entertainment where they are most relaxed and comfortable – at home. MSA planned an environment to create that WOW factor to reflect a similar home environment. In collaboration with the Paramount team, MSA combined branding elements, nature references, and home comfort furniture pieces to create a warm, welcoming experience. Upon entry, one finds themselves in a light-filled, neutral-toned, inviting space, almost like a cozy living room in a wood cabin in the mountains, but with contemporary modern architectural elements. The live edge bar in the break room is a nod to connecting with nature, with its natural, free-flowing shapes – while simultaneously = encouraging spontaneous collaboration with peers over a beverage. The break room also features high-back comfy settees facing each other across a round table and provides a more private escape with a smaller, more intimate group setting.
