As Building Architect of Record for 201 Spear, MSA has been working hand-in-hand with the Building Landlord in upgrading common areas such as the elevator lobbies, restrooms, path of travel areas, and more. The Building Landlord has also entrusted MSA to design ready-to-move-in Spec Suites for potential tenants and providing a range of architectural services to their existing and new tenants, including House Canary, BridgeBank, Google, and WeWork. MSA’s continued relationship with the Building Landlord has ensured consistency in building standards of finishes/fixtures and historical knowledge of the building’s MEP and Structural components.

The Building Landlord has engaged MSA to refresh an existing 11,600 sf space and convert it into a Spec Suite for potential tenants. The previous tenant had many offices along the exterior and an enclosed kitchen area. MSA designed the space to be more of an open office concept, keeping a few key conference rooms and adding new finishes / appliances to the kitchen. The current space features beautiful views of San Francisco including the Ferry Building Marketplace and the San Francisco Bay Bridge.
